Deer Velvet reinforced with colostrum, lactoferrin, manuka honey, echinacea and Vitamin C. Adding to deer velvet’s already powerful immune support is a unique combination of nature’s best supporters of the immune system. Colostrum is a rich source of antibodies, growth factors and nutrients.
Deer velvet has the ability to normalise an organism’s biological activity if it is out of balance. This enhances the organism’s ability to adapt to, and resist, stress, diseases, degeneration and toxins, and external influences that can cause major problems to our well being.
• Traditional Chinese medicine viewed deer velvet as a powerful restorer and maintainer of health rather than as a cure for disease. It strengthens and protects the systems naturally present within the body. Velvet builds the body’s health by helping the body to do what it was naturally made to do.
New Zealand Manuka Honey can be taken to help build the immune system or applied topically as an effective antibacterial treatment.
Medical Uses of Manuka Honey:

2. Poor digestion, Gastritis
3. Wounds
4. Skin ulcers

Colostrum (Bovine) is the pre-milk fluid produced from the mother's mammary glands during the first few days after birth and the very first food that a newborn will eat. Colostrum is a rich source of antibodies, growth factors and nutrients for the suckling neonate and may provide passive immunity to the newborn against various infectious micro organisms, particularly those that affect the gastrointestinal tract. It is easily absorbed by the human body, and may promote bone development and may enhance the immune system, overall health and wellbeing. The protein content of bovine Colostrum is three to four times higher up to 150 grams per litre compared to 30 to 40 grams per litre than it is in regular cow's milk.
Echinacea has traditionally been used to treat or prevent colds, flu, and other infections. Echinacea is believed to stimulate the immune system to help fight infections. Less commonly, echinacea has been used for wounds and skin problems, such as acne or boils.
Lactoferrin There is some preliminary evidence from in vitro and animal research that supplemental lactoferrin may have some immune-enhancing effects. Lactoferrin is a multifunctional protein with a number of possible physiological roles. It is often referred to as an innate defence protein and frequently serves as the first line of defence in protection against pathogens. It has been shown to have the ability to bind iron, it is a natural anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and anti-viral, it is an antioxidant and it also has immunomodulatory properties. It has many beneficial properties, which make it a good candidate for a number of product applications. Considerable lactoferrin and glycoprotein research is currently going on to explain the various suggested biological functions of lactoferrin.
